I provide telehealth sessions and in-person sessions out of my office in Emeryville. Each session is 50 minutes long.

Children & Adolescents
I work with children and teens ages 7 and older who present with a range of symptoms including anxiety, depression, ADHD, gender and sexual identity exploration, school/ home behavioral struggles, experience of trauma, and academic dysfunction. I use directive and non-directive Play Therapy, Art Therapy techniques, and interactional guidance when working with young children to allow them space to explore their feelings and practice real-time regulation skills. When working with pre-teens and adolescents I use talk therapy combined with Art Therapy, roleplaying, and skills building, to allow for emotional and experiential processing with concrete skills to support regulation.
Depending on the age of the child or teen, I often recommend caregiver involvement. For young children I ask caregivers to join for the first session, and may recommend a caregiver join regularly. For teens and adolescents, I ask that the caregiver and I have open communication and be able to discuss ways they can support their child at home.

Adults
I work with adults aged 18 to 65 who are navigating life changes, relational difficulties, and personal growth challenges. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, neurodivergent thinking, experience of trauma, struggles with loneliness or disconnection, grief, managing family changes, and exploring gender and sexual identity. I use talk therapy techniques in addition to somatic, breathing, and polyvagal techniques to process experiences and work towards physical regulation. I integrate in-depth discussion with practical strategies to discover how learned habits were created, acknowledge the needs they fulfill, and practice skills to manage or adjust these habits.

Individual Education Plans & Theraputic support for school
I have detailed knowledge of the IEP process, and years of experience working with children who have IEP’s and 504 plans. I support caregivers in working collaboratively with their child’s school to navigate the IEP process and provide support and resources for caregivers seeking the next steps for their child’s therapeutic support at school.
